The Organization
Island Aviation Inc, is the general aviation arm of the A. Soriano Group of Companies, a management and investment company, with interests in mining, agribusiness, insurance, banking and finance, manufavturing, resort development and port management.
IAI came into being on May 01, 2003as a direct spin-off from the Aviation Department of A. Soriano Corporation (ANSCOR), for which it has benn conducting corporate flying for 26 years. The company was organized to "deal generally in all airplanes of any and all types". This includes the management of owned and other equipment; the establishment of a fixed base operation, the import and export of aircraft, avionics equipmentand aircraft engines/parts; and the manufacture / assembly of aircraft components.
